This engine was used until 1955 at the company Heuze – Malevez – Simon in Auvelais. Afterwards it was used until 1980 by the company Adhémar Demanet in Gosselies. There were 942 engines build by Cockerill between 1871 and 1950. Because they had a standing boiler they were named “The Bottle”. There use was limited to shunting wagons on the grounds of building sites, small factories and quarries. Towed by 551.662, she arrived at Mariembourg on 26 December 1980. She was named “Micheline”. Property of CFV3V. Stored in good condition in our museum. |
