This machine was originally numbered 52-467.
After a great rebuild in 1960 she became 52-82000-9.
Build during the second world war she was one of the « Kriegsloks »(war locomotives).
Because of the war they were a simplified version of the series 50.

6151 engines of this type were build between 1942 and 1945.
After the war, 1500 of them went to the Deutsche Reichsbahn.

The engine was acquired from the East German Railways in 1994. In 2004 the engine was originally restored. The preheater and the sandbox were taken off, that’s why she got back her original number.
