There were more than 800 engines build of this type. The biggest series ever been ordered by the French Railways. They were normally used as shunting engines or cargo trains on secondary lines. Both engines are equipped with automatic conductor alarm, anti-skidding system, red signal memory and double brakes (for passengers and cargo load).
