Railway Museum of Treignes
1994 – 2024: The Railway Museum celebrates its 30th anniversary
The railway museum of Treignes presents its collection « out of time »: testimony of the industrial and railway past of our beautiful country !
Discover with family, friends or solo fantastic locomotives that will take you on a journey from the great era of steam to electricity. The oldest locomotive dates from 1894! Many thematic display cases will tell you the secrets of the caps, lanterns, tools and other objects relating to the world of trains.
In 2023, the Railway Museum inaugurated a new 80-meter extension in collaboration with the General Commission for Tourism (CGT). This new museum welcomes more visitors while preserving this fabulous collection in new spaces (4 lanes 80 meters long).
